Full container or shared container

  • Full container (FCL). You book a whole 20ft or 40ft container for your goods only. It's loaded at your address or our warehouse, sealed, and only opened at customs. Best for house moves, vehicles and business stock.

  • Shared container (LCL). Your goods share a container with other customers' cargo, and you pay only for the space you use. Best for a few pieces of furniture, appliances or a room's worth of belongings.

Full or shared containers to St Lucia

With a full container (FCL) you have a whole 20ft or 40ft container to yourself, sealed in the UK and opened at customs in St Lucia. It suits house moves, vehicles with furniture and business cargo. With a shared container (LCL) you send a smaller load and pay only for the space it fills.

As a guide, a 20ft container holds a one- to two-bedroom home and a 40ft container holds a three- to four-bedroom home or a car plus household goods.

How it works

  1. Get a quote. Send your list, UK postcode and St Lucia address through our contact form or call 020 3086 7592.
  2. Loading or collection. We bring an empty container to you for FCL or collect your items for LCL, or you can drop off at our Barking warehouse.
  3. Export and sailing. We prepare the export paperwork and the container sails from a UK port such as Southampton, Felixstowe or London Gateway.
  4. Arrival. The container arrives at Port Castries or Vieux Fort and is cleared by the Customs and Excise Department.
  5. Delivery. We deliver to your door anywhere on the island.
