Cheap parcel delivery to Jamaica: economy or express
  • Economy (e.g. FedEx International Economy): the lowest price, delivered in about 5 working days. This suits gifts, clothes and documents that aren't urgent.

  • Express (e.g. DHL Express Worldwide, FedEx International Priority): delivered in 2–3 working days, with priority customs clearance.

  • UPS Express Saver: a good middle option on price and speed for heavier boxes.

Every service includes full online tracking from collection to delivery.

Shipping a box to Jamaica: how it works

  1. Get a price. Enter the weight and your postcode in the calculator above.

  2. Book online. Choose a service, add the sender and receiver details, and pay securely.

  3. Pack and label. Use a strong cardboard box and print the label we email you.

  4. Collection. The courier collects from your home or workplace anywhere in the UK.

  5. Delivery. Your parcel is cleared through Jamaican customs and delivered to the door.

Couriers charge by the actual weight or the volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 5,000), whichever is higher. A small, well-packed box keeps the cost down.

Delivery times to Kingston, Montego Bay and all parishes

Express parcels usually reach Kingston and St Andrew in 2–3 working days. They reach Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Mandeville, Spanish Town, May Pen and rural parishes in 3–5 working days. Customs inspections and public holidays can add a day or two.

What you can and can't send to Jamaica

Most personal items, clothing, shoes, toiletries, gifts, books and non-perishable foods are fine to send. You can't send:

  • firearms, ammunition, or replica weapons

  • illegal drugs

  • counterfeit goods

  • flammable items such as aerosols or lighters

  • perishable food, cash, or items made from protected animals

Some items need permits, such as medicines, plants and seeds, meat and dairy, and electronics sent in commercial quantities. Your receiver may have to pay Jamaican import duty and GCT on what's in the parcel, depending on its value. Always describe the contents and their value accurately on the customs form. If you're not sure, call us on 0808 304 2026.

Sending something bigger?

For barrels, multiple boxes, furniture or a vehicle, sea freight costs much less per kilo. See our shipping barrels to Jamaica service or our main Jamaica shipping page for containers and vehicles.
